Svetlana Jakimovska was born on 8 June 1956 in Skopje. Her ethnic background is Macedonia and she is member of VMRO-DPMNE. She graduated secondary education in “Rade Jovchevski-Korchagin” gymnasium and graduated from the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” at the Ss. “Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje. She is married and has one child.
She started her professional career in 1984 in Makoteks Company Skopje where she later became head of the department for normative activities and management bodies.
In the period 2001-February 2002 she is deputy director of the Agency for Employment of the Republic of Macedonia. Since March 2002 with decision by the Government of the Republic of Macedonia she was appointed as director of the Employment Agency of the Republic of Macedonia.
In parallel with her professional activities, Svetlana Jakimovska is very active and successful in her political party VMRO-DPMNE. She closely relates her political engagement with her profession – the law and legislation.
She performs many functions in her political party:
- Delegate of the Annual Assembly of VMRO-DPMNE;
- Vice-Chair of the Committee on Social Issues, Labour Relations and Employment;
- Vice- Chair of the Committee on Legal Issues;
- Member of the Forum on Legal, Political issues and Judicial System of VMRO-DPMNE;
- Delegate of the 13th and 14th Congress of VMRO-DPMNE;
- Member of MC Kisela Voda;
- Member of MEC on Local Elections in 2005;
- Member of the Central Committee of VMRO-DPMNE;
- Member of the Executive Committee of the Union of Women of VMRO-DPMNE.
She was awarded for her engagements with multiple acknowledgments and recognitions, including: for special commitment and personal contribution in the partnership for economic development of the Republic of Macedonia, in the project for application of the integrated model of the Department of Labour of the United States, supported by USAID (April 2002).
She is actively participating on many international conferences and seminars, political skills and campaigns organized in cooperation with the Centre for Education and Training MOTIVA (March 2008) and in the "Campaigning Masterclass" activity for campaign of highest professional class.
On the parliamentary elections in June 2006 she was elected as member of the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia from VMRO-DPMNE. During the 5th composition she is Chairperson of the Committee on the Rules of Procedure and Mandatory and Immunity Issues.
She was re-elected as member of the Parliament in at the early parliamentary elections in June 2008 and on the session of the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia held on 31 July 2008 she was elected as vice-president of the Parliament.
Being vice-president, beside other activities and tasks, Svetlana Jakimovska chairs the Budget Council of the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia, Member of the Parliamentary Group of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for Cooperation with the Parliament of the Republic of Poland, Member of the Parliamentary Group of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for Cooperation with the Parliament of the Republic of Slovenia, Member of the Parliamentary Group of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for Cooperation with the Parliament of Montenegro , Member of the Parliamentary Group of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for Cooperation with the Parliament of and Member of the Parliamentary Group of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for Cooperation with the Parliament of New Zealand.

Trajko Veljanoski was born on 2 November 1962 in Skopje. He graduated from the Law Faculty at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University. In 1988 he passed the bar examination and started an independent law office the same year. He worked as a lawyer until 1999.
He started his political engagement in 1993 by joining VMRO-DPMNE. His political activity has been closely related to his professional vocation - law and legislation. For a number of years he has headed the VMRO-DPMNE Legal Affairs Committee, and has been a member of the Party's Political System Committee. He has also headed the VMRO-DPMNE Forum on Legal and Political Affairs and Judicial System.
In 1999 he was elected Under-Secretary in the Ministry of Justice in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, and soon afterwards he became Deputy Minister in the same Ministry. In both positions, he was particularly involved in the process of drafting laws and their adoption in the Assembly and its working bodies. At the same time, he was engaged in preparations of a series of international bilateral and multilateral agreements, and participated in international meetings, conferences and seminars.
During this period, he was member of the President of the Republic's Committee of Appeals and Member of the Managing Board of the Center for European Integration.
In a number of election rounds, including presidential, parliamentary and local elections, he has been involved as a Member of the State Election Commission.
At the 2006 Parliamentary Elections Trajko Veljanoski was elected Member of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia during which parliamentary mandate, until April 2008 he was Chairman of the Assembly's Committee on Election and Appointment Issues. At the elections in June 2008 he was re-elected Member of the Assembly, and at the Constitutive Session of the new Assembly's mandate he was elected President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia.
In the elections in June 2011, he was elected as an MP for the third time, and at the Constitutive session of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia he was re-elected as President of the Assembly.
Trajko Veljanoski is married and is a father of two children.
